Another quick update! I have done some of these dudes from Age of Sigmar. They are Stormcast Eternals from one of the old small sets.
Welcome, this is a blog about anything tabletop, mostly miniatures and board games.

Vintage GHQ + Prep cleaning minis!
I just got an order of some discounted GHQ. Some of them are pretty old but the sculpts are still good looking so I don't mind. So let me give you an overview of the minis I got then I'll show you how I prep clean my minis using an ultrasonic cleaner.
2 packs of German Raketenpanzer. Iltis jeeps, and Leopard II A4's. Russian BRDM 1 Swatter and Zil 57k fuel truck. Finally American LVTP-7's.
Lets have a closer look at the LVTP-7s!
Right out of the blister. Two turrets and one other piece. I don't know what it is!
So this is the ultrasonic cleaner. Just add water and a bit of soap then set it for the maximum time.
In the tank with just enough water to cover the minis.
Adding some soap!
It will froth with many tiny bubbles cleaning the minis very efficiently.
Here they are set on a cloth to dry before being painted. If you have any more questions about prepping minis ask away!

Samurai armies from Baccus! Its an awful lot of miniatures. I'll crack open these bags and have a look at everything hopefully soon. I just don't have the space available right now. I have waaay to many ongoing projects.
The Box is super heavy.
I ordered two sets of the Samurai Army.
I ordered a bunch of extra units like monks, mounted bows, and mounted samurai for each army.
Also ordered some bases for these armies and also for my Dutch cannons.

Order from Gamecraft Miniatures
Good day. Its Thursday. I received TWO packages today! The first one we will look at is from Allen Rockwell at gcmini.com This order came in record time I must say. The box even had some candy in it!
Candy!
I got these awesome project boxes. They stack so I can save some desk space.
I put together the first set.
Besides the sweet boxes I got an add on pack for Test of Honour, some 6 sided dice, and some GHQ miniatures.
Russian T-80 and BMP2 box.
Russian GAZ Tigrs.
Russian BM-27 Urugans
Thanks to Allen and Gamecraft miniatures! Check back tomorrow for the breakdown of the package I got from Baccus!

I was looking at my Micro Armor this week. I have continued to collect modern American units but I wasn't sure what I had. I also wanted to order some Russian units so I can actually play GHQ's Modern Micro Armor game. I ordered a Russian T-80 combat command box, Gaz tigers, and some MLRS units from Gamecraft Miniatures. I also ordered some project boxes too. Hopefully these will help me organize my desk a bit better. Allen Rockwell is the guy who runs Gamecraft minis. He has a fantastic YouTube channel which you can see here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_zjLdVqHHYiDYJvjSARV9Q

Happy!...er Friday! I just received my copy of Triplanetary! I kickstarted it earlier this year. Its made by the fantastic Steve Jackson. This is the third edition with the first and second being printed in 1973 and 1981 respectively. I thought I would do a little unboxing here. The box does not contain a lot which is kind of nice. First thing we have is the majestic board!
The rules are only sixteen pages and that includes the various scenarios. I have a friend coming to visit soon and we will probably play a few games of this. So expect to see more Triplanetary in the future.
This map is awesome! You can even draw on it with the included dry-erase markers.
Included is a half-sheet of counters and of course the rules.

My first real attempt at painting 6mm and painting Napoleonics. Dutch Militia 1815 for Waterloo. Criticism welcome!

Greetings!
I have just placed an order with Baccus. I'm building two Japanese armies for the Sengoku Period. I plan on using the Banzai! rules made by Robert Fellows.
I have to wait for the rules and miniatures to arrive. So as a little side project I started working on the Dutch Napoleonic army I picked up from Baccus earlier this year. I'm starting with the Militia. As usual I'm using an Osprey book as the source for my uniforms.
Thus far I've organized them onto strips and started priming.
