My GHQ M1A1 Abrams arrived. Enjoy some pics of them fresh out of the pack, They have a bit of flashing and some extra bits.

Incredible detail for such a small miniature.

Im Excited to get the M113's I ordered from CinC. There models cost a lot less so if they have good detail I think I'll go CinC. These 5 models from GHQ cost about $14 USD including shipping. The M113s I orderd cost $4.50 USD including shipping.

Happy Wednesday! Just wanted to throw up a quick post about my new projects. I'm hoping to get into Micro Armor and build some armies. I ordered a set of M1A1 Abrams from GHQ and some M113's from C in C. I wanted to go with the cheaper option but I think I'll go with the best quality. Still looking for a rules set to play Micro Armor with, if you know any good ones shoot me a message. Also ordered a few board games from coolstuff inc since they are having a big sale, so expect some pics and maybe some unboxings of those.

Hello! Got some exciting new board game/miniatures stuff going on. I'll start with a post about a couple board games I picked up last week. I went out to my local Barnes and Noble, they have a couple big bins that they put discounted stuff in. Usually worth rummaging through. I found quite a few board games, Zombicide season 2 for half off, while i was tempted it was still 50 bucks. Also saw Doomtown Reloaded for 10 bucks, kicking myself for not grabbing it. What I did buy however, was a remake of the classic game Car Wars. I've seen it online a few times and was really interested in getting it. It was only 7 or 8 bucks so I bought it along with a game I've never heard of before called Armadora.

Armadora sounded cool because it involved dwarves, which I love. However upon reading the rules I discovered it was a super basic game and that dwarves aren't even a playable race.

Its a cool looking little game that will go into my travel collection.

Car Wars looks amazing. Its old school but I love so much about it. It comes with a big black an white map that is double sided, some tokens for vehicles and pedestrians. Also has a turning ruler thing and a couple dice.

The rule book is black and white. It has a cool chronology of history explaining the events that lead up to car wars and how a world filled with vehicular mayhem came to be.

Also included are two sheets used to record your vehicle and its stats along with its status. One is for traditional 4 wheeled cars and the other for cycles.

Another cool thing is the section that lets you design your own cars. This includes the body type, armor, and weapons. Overall I'm excited to learn to play and find somebody to 'autoduel' with. I'll do a new post tomorrow about the minis/board games I hope to get this week.
